La Crosse, Wisconsin (July 22, 2009)–Successful Projects announces a new licensee in Australia that will serve the Asia Pacific region. This expansion will dramatically increase the breadth of resources and global diversity of the organization. One of the many benefits is that it brings Prince2 knowledge and experience into the Successful Projects organization. Amanda Symonds, the new licensee, is Prince2, ITIL and MSP certified and is a project management instructor. She will be doing business as Successful Projects and will be based in Melbourne, Australia.
Since its inception in 2001, Successful Projects has focused on project management general instruction and coaching as well as specific training that ultimately puts many students on the track to become PMP® certified. In many regions of the world, PMP certification is the most widely recognized certification for project managers. The Prince2 certification is more popular in Europe and Australia. Successful Projects will now be able to provide their students with knowledge on both certification approaches and this is a big benefit for larger businesses that manage projects across various regions of the world.
Successful Projects has also created project management related products and distributes them worldwide. In fact it was the newest product, a Project Risk board game that initiated the relationship with Ms. Symonds-“I had been researching project management training simulations and games for a while. And when I encountered the Project Risk game on the Internet, I could see its huge potential. And I immediately initiated conversations about becoming a licensee for this region of the world.” Ms. Symonds just recently returned to Australia, after having worked in project management in the UK.
