I have used the “Project Risk Game” with much success over the past few years, whilst I teach Project Management classes. Delegates really enjoy this fun mode of learning, going by the positive reviews after the training. In addition to their feedback, I can see that Delegates benefit from the opportunity to learn in a realistic way about project leadership, decision-making, risk evaluation, problem-solving, anticipation and planning, and other useful project management knowledge areas. I can highly recommend this simulation to all those who teach Project Management – a great teaching and learning tool!
I’m so glad I decided to take the [Certificate in Project Management] course, it gave me a great introduction to the concepts and practices of project management. I am excited to continue learning and am hoping to move into the project management career field in the future. I have started to apply project management techniques to several projects I am currently in charge of. Amy was wonderful, she gave me a great real-life perspective of project management and showed me that I already practice project management in my job. She taught me how to take what I was already doing and put it into the project management framework. I still have a lot to learn but feel confident in my ability to continue in this area of work. (Instructor: Amy Gau)
Great value for the money – fun, interactive. I taught Risk today and used lots of things you had taught! I stressed opportunities and used the EESA and MATA (which you taught me). I will recommend some of my Advanced PM students to come.
Kay Wais is a consummate professional with a unique skill for helping individuals and organizations easily grasp and apply the most challenging of Project Management concepts. I turn to Kay for her ideas and approaches on best practices in Project Management, and her deep knowledge and real-world focused answers offer me tremendous value. The fact that Kay is wonderful to work with and conducts herself with the highest sense of professionalism and ethics makes for a tremendous experience.
You made the topic of risk management fun and entertaining – which can be hard for this topic. Great instructor.
I want to thank you again for putting together an excellent workshop. I have taken several courses on PM and I have to say, without a doubt, I left this one with more take-a-ways that are applicable to my work in product development than any other… After 40 years of managing projects of various sizes, I think I am finally able to transition from a dominating “seat of the pants” approach to an approach that is much more disciplined. Never too late, I guess.
You did excellent, especially when delivering the multiple variables going on in management and the shifting priorities in leadership.
She [Instructor: Kay Wais] loves what she does! Her experience makes her credible. Her voice and presentation make her effective in front of the room.
I recommend Successful Projects for all your Project Management needs. I had a wonderful instructor. Very easy to talk to and understand, she also incorporates a lot of fun activities in the learning process to enhance learning. I love that she has everything from 30 minute classes to 16 hour classes, whatever your needs are, she will make it fit.
After completing the Successful Projects [Certificate in Project Management] coursework with you [Instructor: Renee Adair] this summer, I have become keenly aware of how much project management my job actually requires – in spite of the fact that outwardly it appears to have very little! I am now in a better position to take these projects and formally organize them for greater efficiency and accountability on all levels. The course completion has also increased my desire to dig deeper and explore further. It has opened the door of endless curiosity for me. Thank you for your guidance during the process.
I attended Renee’s PMP boot camp back in March of this year and she ran it brilliantly. Renee was able to work simultaneously with remote and in-person learners without missing a beat. Her ease in teaching and her complete coverage of the material by the time the boot camp ended was, to be honest, awe inspiring. Renee was easy to approach and is truly a master of her field.
I highly recommend Kay Wais and Successful Projects due to Kay’s knowledge, passion, professionalism, and leadership skills in the world of project management.
I felt the workshop was valuable and that your presentation skills are excellent. Everything flowed very well and you stayed on schedule with the workshop. Keep up the good work!
Ahmed Zouhair was a great mentor during my professional development as a certified project manager. His deep expertise of the profession and his positive and aspiring personality helped me make the right choices at the right time during my journey to the PMP certification. He understood my strengths and weaknesses and guided me through the optimal learning path. Because of his experience, he was able to make complex PMI concept easy to grasp by providing meaningful examples. Combined with his hands-on approach, this made for the perfect learning environment for me. He never hesitated to activate his network to provide the best solutions possible. I always felt that Ahmed deeply cared about my success.
I expected good, but this is great.
Kay [Instructor Kay Wais] was lively and entertaining, with a great grasp of the material. I liked the clickers and the class involvement.
This is a Great deal with a GREAT teacher
Todd provides the right guidance on how to establish an effective change management organization. This is a must read before undertaking of your next organizational project, as it will help you avoid many pitfalls which drive delays
or project failures.
Todd Williams knows a lot about getting failing projects back on track. His Filling Execution Gaps provides a thorough roadmap for initiating projects well and ensuring their progress toward successful completion. The focus of the book on organizational factors makes it a good reference for leaders at all levels, particularly at the upper levels where actions and decisions have such a significant impact – for better or for worse – on project outcomes.
I passed my test last minute in March I’ve gone through your practice test and I really helped me allot I’ve also bought the [a product name] recommended IN THE PMI website but I failed my test the first time that’s when I found your website from the Youtube and I think that helped me allot. Thank you so much
The instructor was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject matter. She kept the class interesting and brought up good examples. The risk plan analysis and the concept of negative stakeholders was most helpful.
