PMP Exam Preparation
Learning Your Way
From mock exams, workbooks and study tips to exam preparation, we offer a solution that will work for the way you learn.
The PMP Certificate is the most recognized and respected credential in the field of project management. The purpose of our training options and support materials is to prepare eligible, or nearly eligible, students to obtain this certification by helping them with an organized study approach, by providing explanations and presentations of the most challenging topics, providing many practice questions with explanations of the answers, and access to a knowledgeable instructor.
We can help employers provide training to your employees through virtual instructor-led training programs or through our instructor and student kits which enables your qualified staff to train your own team.
We can help individuals prepare for the PMP exam through our Certificate in Project Management program offered through universities and small business development centers, and with supplemental training support through mock exam simulations, workbooks and personal coaching to help enable you for success.
What is PMP® Certification?
The Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential is recognized as the universal standard of the profession. PMP® certification is often a criteria that is either required or requested of job candidates for senior project management positions.
Getting PMP® certified helps expand your project management knowledge and skills, it validates your professional work experience (which is also an eligibility requirement) and it increases your marketability and often salary level. According to the PMI Salary Survey — Sixth Edition a PMP® increases your salary up to 10% more than your non-credentialed colleagues and peers.
There are currently eight certifications offered by PMI. However, the PMP® is by far the most well-known and most requested of job candidates.
Time Budgeting
Students need to be fully aware that it takes significant individual time to complete the Project Management Institute’s PMP® application and list the eligibility work and education experience. Although an exam prep course is recommended, it takes additional after-course preparation time to fully study. In general, students often report between 200 – 300 hours of time investing in studying for and obtaining their PMP® certification.
Certificate in Project Management – PMP Track
Through partnerships with universities and small business development centers we offer a course is intended for those who are or are soon to be eligible for the PMP® credential. This course is directed towards experienced project managers. However, inexperienced and non-project managers who have taken this course have both been successful in learning about the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and in completing the course. The graded quizzes can be retaken as many times as necessary to master the content and the explanations of the answers are provided immediately. So with discipline and dedication, most students can do well.
